Ventek Solutions in Tullahoma, TN is seeking a Mold Setter I

Job Overview:

• The mold setter will need to be able to perform mold changes, fill gun repairs and test cooling trees.
• Welding is a requirement for this position.
• This is a Monday - Friday job for 8 hours per day job and overtime as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Changing seals and gaskets
• Removal and installation of molds weighing up to 2 tons
• Making repairs to machinery - including minor welding, drilling and tapping holes
• Inspection of molds prior to installation
• Maintain housekeeping
• PPE is a must - safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toed shoes with met-guard
• Must supply basic hand tools, sockets, ratchets, and allen wrenches
• Identify and recommend any continuous improvements that could help achieve quick tool changes or improve other processes
• Perform all other duties as the company may require

Skills and Qualifications:

• Ability to read and basic mathematics
• Minimum 1 year experience with injection molding
• Welding is required
• Brazing is preferred
• Knowledge of cutting threads
• Knowledge of pneumatic cylinders
• Attendance must stay in good standing
• Must be able to work overtime as needed to meet internal and customer requirements
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Must be able to successfully pass a background check and drug test
